Shoei RF-1400 Mural

The Shoei RF-1400 Mural, part of SHOEI’s RF line with an esteemed heritage stretching over nearly four decades, represents a new milestone in their pursuit of innovation. Released in 2021, this road riding helmet underwent rigorous testing in SHOEI’s wind tunnel facility. Here, its aerodynamics and ventilation systems were scrutinized and refined. As a result, it boasts six air intake and four exhaust vents to keep the rider cool and reduce both upward lift and drag as compared to the previous model, the RF-1200.

A new addition to the helmet is the airtight window beading which establishes a wind and waterproof seal for the shield. The CWR-F2 shield also protects eyes by providing a clear view and advancing protection against harmful UV rays. The release button has been conveniently placed in the centre of the helmet for smooth lifting.

The Shoei RF-1400 Mural is designed with intricate safety features. Multiple layers of fiberglass and a dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner form a robust barrier to protect the wearer during impact. Augmenting this safety is the exclusive Max-Dry interior material that absorbs and dissipates sweat two times faster than conventional nylon interiors ensuring maximum comfort for the rider. The liner is also removable and washable. This lightweight helmet weighing only 3 pounds 10 ounces is Snell M2020D and DOT approved and is available in an array of colors and graphics.
